General Announcements

St. John's will be working on a new Church Directory this summer and we are lining up church member photo sessions!  Universal Church Directories is organizing these sessions and we are currently taking reservations for family sessions.

        To sign up online, go to www.ucdir.com      Click on the directory photo session login tab and use the church code: mn301   and password: photos.   Online sessions can be scheduled weekdays.  It will not be available on weekends, however you can sign up in person on Sunday mornings.  A volunteer will help you at a table in the Narthex.

St. John's will be confirming 14 young people during their Confirmation Service on Sunday, May 7th, 2023 during the 10:30am worship service.  There will be a reception for the confirmands and their families in the fellowship hall at 9:00am that morning.

Starting May 28th, we will only have one service on Sundays at 8:30 am.  Fellowship, coffee, and donuts following the service in the church basement.  Join us!

Jeff Hagen, our Vicar for the past two years, will be ordained and installed as St. John's Associate Pastor on Sunday, April 30th at 3:00 pm.  There will be a reception hosted by the St. John's Parish Board following the service in the fellowship hall.

The Friendship Club is meeting Monday, May 1st at 9:00am at Green Mill in Fairmont.  They have reserved a room for us and will have breakfast menu specials.  Come for coffee, food, and conversation.  See you there!

From May through September each summer, area churches serve as host for the Tuesday morning coffees.  

     For the month of May is hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome. Serving from 8:30-10:00. 

All are welcome to join for good food and fellowship!

A Baccalaureate Service for the Class of 2023 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 31st at 6:30pm here at St. John's.  

This service is open to the public to attend and is hosted by MCW area churches.

Reminder - we start our summer schedule on May 28th, 2023.  

One Sunday service at 8:30 am with fellowship and coffee in the church basement at 9:30 am.
