9-12 Grade Food. Fun. Faith. meets Wed Oct 27

Sr. High Food. Fun. Faith. is meeting on Wednesday, October 27th at 6:00 pm at Jeff Markquart's house (6 S Fox Lake Dr W).  As always, we'll have good eats and a faith topic. We will be painting pumpkins and working on our envelopes for our next fundraiser.

All are youth in grades 9-12 are encouraged to join us.

St. John's Service Day is Oct 30

All youth and their families are invited to join our first annual St. John's Service Day on October 30th from 9:00-2:00.  Meet at the church at 9:00 a.m.  Bring your own rakes and preferred tools. Pizza back at the church when done.

If you are in need of some fall yardwork help (stick pickup, leaf raking, etc), call the church office and let us know - 507-764-5312.

Save the Date - Christmas Program Dec 15

The Children's Christmas Program will be Wednesday, December 15th, starting at 6:00 p.m.  Join us for the Christmas Story presented by our Sunday School children.

A free-will offering Soup and Sandwich meal will be served by our Jr and Sr High Youth following the program.

Bible Stories 101

Bible Stories 101 - whether you read your Bible daily, dust off the cover to read from time to time, or haven't open a Bible in years... this study is for YOU!

Join us every Sunday during the school year at 9:15 in the Fireside Room.

 

NYG Youth Trip Meeting Oct 3rd

Youth Trip Meeting:  All 9th-12 grade youth and their parents that are interested going on the National Youth Gathering trip MUST attend the youth meeting on Sunday, October 3, at 9:00 a.m.  Registration for trip will take place at this meeting.

 

Wednesday Morning Bible Study Starting

Starting this Wednesday, September 29, at 9:00 a.m. Connie Markquart will lead a Bible study ‚ÄúDetermined, living like Jesus every moment‚ÄĒa study of Luke‚ÄĚ.¬†¬†

Friendship Club meeting Sept 27th

Friendship Club will meet on Monday, September 27 at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont at 11:30 a.m.  Back room has been reserved for us once again.  Please note the change of destination, (will explain at gathering).

Dad's Belgian Waffles - Sept 19th

Serving 9:00 am to noon. Free will offering 

Suggested donation of $8.00 ages 12-adult, $6.00 ages 5-11, under 5 free.
Dine in or take out available!
All proceeds will be used to help fund youth ministry at St. John's.  One specific project we are fundraising for is the National Youth Gathering in Houston, TX in July 2022.  We currently have approximately 30 kids registered to attend!

Fall Worship schedule starts Sept 19th

We'll be back to our fall schedule starting Sept 19th with Worship services at 8:00 and 10:30.  Sunday School at 9:15.

Join us between services too for coffee and fellowship.

Reminder - Outdoor Worship on Sept 12

What:  Outdoor church service for all members, followed by brunch and games!

When: September 12th starting at 10:00 am

Where:  Everett Park - Welcome

Let's join together for a great outdoor service, food, fellowship and fun!  Bring your lawn chair and a smile.
If bad weather, we will be at the church.

Confirmation Classes

7th and 8th grade confirmation classes start on September 15th at 3:45 in the church basement.

Custodial Position Open

The Trustees are looking for interested people to help clean and care for our church.  This is a paid position.  Interested persons should contact the church office or a Trustee.
